I can’t contain my excitement - I’m loving the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Hydrating and De-Puffing Concealer! (I did have an issue with the audio synching once I upload to YouTube, but it seems to be an issue on YouTube's end so I can't fix it. Hope that's not too annoying.)
I’m wearing the shade 12 light rosy which is a PERFECT shade match for me. Lorrrrrrrd it is so refreshing to see a ‘cool’ concealer that is actually cool and not yellow *cough* Makeup Forever *cough* VICTORY!
The website says:
“A clean, lightweight, long-wearing, non-comedogenic concealer that does more than cover—it visibly blurs, brightens and conceals with medium, buildable coverage that de-puffs after 2 weeks of use. HausTech Powered™ with 20+ skincare ingredients including our patent-pending Fermented Arnica.”
Those are some bold claims, I can’t say that this concealer de-puffs or hydrates but it does look stunning under the eyes. The brand says that this is medium coverage but I actually feel like it’s quite full coverage, which I love!
It has quite a thick, tacky formula so if you’re used to a very lightweight concealer, this may be too heavy for you, but it’s great for me. I find that thicker concealers smooth over fine lines rather than settling into them.
Wear test: this performed extraordinarily well after an 8 hour wear test, I think because it does have a slightly more natural finish - it’s neither dewy, nor matte. It only faded a tiny bit after 8 hours and it didn’t crease at all, it just looked a bit dry at the end of the day.
I know you’re gonna ask, so compared to my holy grail concealer Fitglow and my second favorite Live Tinted, this formula is a bit thicker and more matte in comparison. I would say Fitglow is my #1, Live Tinted #2, and Haus Labs #3.
Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase. I’m not surprised that Lady Gaga, mega star and fellow chronic illness warrior, created a concealer with such great coverage and performance. Mother knows best.
