Better Call Saul just released a new trailer for the series' final six episodes. In it, we see the candle in Kim and Jimmy's living room (now splattered with Howard's blood) and hear Kim reading the attorney's oath. Is it a flashback? A flashforward? Or something else completely.
Kim has become a more complicated character and in the final season, many of our assumptions about her have come into question. This teaser doesn't make it seem any more likely that she might die, but it does make you wonder if she'll have to flee or will end up in prison. By including the lawyer's oath, it makes you think about what she'll lose and how that'll happen.
At the end of Better Call Saul’s midseason finale, Lalo showed up at Kim and Jimmy’s place looking to talk. This was after he realized that Gus knew he might be alive and was preparing for his arrival in Albuquerque. When he called Hector he realized the phone surveillance tipped off Fring’s men and had to change his plans accordingly. He left Laundry where the superlab is being built and went to talk to his lawyer Saul Goodman.
