From late November to late December, the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad brings out their steam locomotive number 40 to pull Santa Claus Trains for passengers. Although 40 did not run during the summer and fall months this year, we made sure to take a trip to see it on the last weekend in December, and end the decade out with a great chase. On this unseasonably warm December day, we took advantage of capturing 40 in beautiful locations with great weather conditions. 40 was also wearing a special whistle for the weekend, a Lonergan 3 Chime. Enjoy backwoods steam at its finest on the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad.
