Yes, 19 years. August 26, 2000 was the first time that 486 pulled a train for the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Since then, 486 has pulled hundreds of trains for tourists and railfans and is in the rotation of Durango & Silverton locomotives. This is a short compilation of some shots of 486 I got this June during my trip to the Durango & Silverton.
