New Home Project -- Building our New Home -- Day 24 -- Backfilling the foundation.
This is day 24 since we dug the hole. The backfill was done today. It looks a little rough, but Roger, the worker who dug the hole, is in the hospital with heart surgery. So we had to bring in another equipment operator. Wishing you a quick recovery, Roger!
Next step is to even it all out, compact the soil, and spread the gravel for the lower level and garage floor concrete pour. If you want to join us for that episode, follow the directive below:
