The fruits are here! every morning brings more mulberries and strawberries .. and the fruit is beginning to pile up faster than I can eat it. Goumi berries are up next .. and the bush is LOADED!
Last year, I dried our goumi berries with a cheap food dehydrator that I picked up at a garage sale last millenium .. it did the job, but slowly .. and this year, there is no way it will be able to keep up.
Building a solar dehydrator is on my to-do list, but we need to preserve our harvest NOW .. so I purchased an electric one .. did I waste the money? Lets find out!
