Expedition Odyssey, upon its initial opening, was met with mixed reactions. Many felt it was boring, not very interesting, and lacked dynamic movement. The SeaWorld team took another look at the attraction and decided to overhaul it, just one year after its debut. Expedition Odyssey: Fire and Ice, brings in all new ride programing, completely new scenes, and a lot more theming in the queue, loading area, and exit. It's a night and day difference compared to the original!
