Look is the first and only studio album by Berkeley, CA new wave band New Dots. Everything about this album is rock-solid. The cover is great, the songs are great, the overall aesthetic is as 80s as you can possibly get. It's very high quality, and would be better if the audio wasn't so compressed. That's not you, that's the actual record! Nothing special but it doesn't try to be anything more than you know it is. Also probably in the top 10 best covers I've photographed. Reminds me of "Ultrasounds" by Ape Hangers. Radio station copy, former property of KVMR 89.5 in Nevada City, CA. That's cool. Also features famed session musician Steve Douglas. Whoever hired him could not have made a better pick.
