Malaysia Anti-Terror Bill
Once upon a time you could be detained indefinitely in Malaysia. That law was repealed in 2012, but now it’s back on the books. Phil Robertson, Deputy Director, Asia Division, Human Rights Watch says it’s a giant step backwards.
China Commissions News Attack Subs
China looks to be commissioning three new attack subs, that could pose a serious threat to nations wishing to halt Beijing’s advance in the South China Sea. The submarines are faster, quieter, and deadlier than before - posing a threat to all in the region.
Grand Theft Auto Thailand
A 29-year-old American went on a joy ride through Pattaya after a hit-and-run accident, injuring at least two and damaging several vehicles.
