The new Brabus Bodo Cabriolet delivers 1,000 horsepower, a V12 engine, and an electronically limited 223 mile per hour top speed. Only 77 examples will be produced across the Bodo Cabriolet and Coupe lineup.
Unveiled at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, the Brabus Bodo Cabriolet takes the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante platform and transforms it into an ultra-exclusive open-top grand touring machine. Brabus gives the car an entirely new carbon fiber body along with major mechanical upgrades.
Power comes from a heavily modified 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 1,000 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.
Brabus claims acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour in approximately 3.0 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 223 miles per hour. The car also features active aerodynamics, an electrically extending rear wing, and massive 22-inch Brabus Monoblock Z-GT wheels.
With a starting price of approximately $1.17 million and production limited to just 77 cars shared with the Coupe, the Bodo Cabriolet combines Aston Martin foundations with the extreme performance and customization Brabus is known for.
