SESSIONS: Interior - Six interior scenes. Two hours each. Start to finish, in Blender.
Interior vignettes are where modeling, materials, lighting, and compositing all have to agree with each other. In this series, Sascha Feider builds six of them from an empty scene to a final render, with a two hour clock running the whole time.
Because the limit is part of the lesson. You learn what's worth your time and what isn't.
What you'll build:
1 - Simple Step: procedural stone, array modifiers, and light that makes a staircase worth looking at,
2 - Morning Coffee: a fluffy Geometry Nodes fur rug, procedural steam, and video gobos faking an exterior
3 - Flowing Curtain: cloth simulation with wind, baked into a seamless loop
4 - Marble Colonnade: one great marble material, reused across an entire scene
5 - Room with a View: an A-frame cabin, cloth sim beanbags, and a sunset time lapse that moves from exterior to interior light
6 - Vintage Room: dusty god rays, a particle dust system, and compositing that carries the mood
36 lessons. Cycles. Modeling, materials, simulation, lighting, animation, and compositing in every project.
