On the last month of 2022 we got a lot of new information around 3dsmax, and I decided to make the news video a little before.
We go a new update for 3ds Max 2022 point 3. On this point update we got viewport filter (independent by viewport!). Even faster saving performance (20 to 40% faster than 2022.2. Around 2x-3X comparing with max 2022.1). A new occlude mode on edit poly. General improvements on smart extrude, chamfer modifier, symmetry modifiers. And a lot of fixes and improvements around.
We have lots of updates on the roadmap. That will give an idea of what the team is working to implement next. Volumetrics on viewport, a total VDB toolkit as modifiers, a new boolean modifier, instance on viewport API, a new snap pivot, color management on 3dsmax, and a lot of cool new things coming.
As usual multiple new plugins, scripts, and cool artwork done in our favorite 3d program.
