a full day (maybe closer to half a day of hyperfixating) of editing something I wanted to edit yesterday but due to being basically a zombie- I put off but I wanted to make this before January ended.

Ten years ago my stepdad passed which left me to take care of my mother in his stead. I've struggled a lot with this because of the lack of support from my family (the people literally blood-related to her) and my in-laws, who refuse to take the time to understand things. Anytime I think that he would be proud of me, I end up crying from both the truth of knowing he'd be insanely proud of me and from the regret I still feel about how our relationship was for the 15 years he was married to my mother but I will always gladly take the nearly 6 years of comradery we had until he passed.
