Friendly Review of the Netgear Orbi (amzn.to/2oSID88) FW version 2.5.0.38 which came out in October 2019 and FW version 2.5.0.40 which came out in November 2019. The Firmware update enhances the device recognition mechanism, fixes compatibility with Sonos devices, and is a hot fix (hotfix) updating the https certificate.
I also provide my take on the new Orbi WiFi 6 AX6000 as many have asked.
Keep in mind if your FW is at version 2.2.1.210 or lower, you need to update it to 2.2.1.212 in order to get the new updates.
