Thanks to SendCutSend.com for sponsoring this series on Laser Cutting with Fusion 360!

Learn how to Lay Parts or Components flat in Fusion 360 using Joints. This is the 3rd method to lay your parts flat. Check out our first lesson that covers the first two methods: youtu.be/PN4bd4rr4z8

Fusion 360 Joints allow you to position parts in their desired location. Use Joints to lay objects on a flat planar surface. Define the Joint Origin and Offsets to position the parts once they're lying flat. Note that As-Built Joints will not work with this workflow, as they do not allow you to move the position of parts.

Check out the next video in this series, where I demo how to prepare your Fusion 360 file for the Laser Cutter.
