K-Sha's guns do Massive Damage™, and she WILL wipe your party out in seconds if you're not close to her level. She is the only boss out of the 4 members of the Gold Third (that you need to fight back-to-back) who is pretty much OP as hell.

I teased this a bit at the start of my Now Or Never cover. I decided to finish it because I *really* wanted to give the chiptune section a go. And damn Ive impressed myself with it.

Not much to say about this one really, except that it came out sounding REALLY good than I first expected. I had a lot of fun figuring out how to make the chiptune part sound good in midi, and I probably will want to do the rest of the Chirpy Chips tracks at some point because of this. :p
Tried something new with this video since the track is just an endlessly looping 1-minute track and felt boring to just watch. Figured itd be nice to do a little comparison between my cover and the original and just listen to how close they sound to each other.

Just something that I threw together really quick as a test. Ive always wanted to do something like this in Vegas, and it actually turned out pretty good!
Render time: Approx. 1h 35m, on a 2.2GHz Core i5 laptop. :u
Programs involved/used:
- Sony Vegas 11
- FRAPS
- Winamp 5
Yeah, you read that last one right, what youre actually looking at here is my re-imagining of the visualizers you see on the Winamp Modern interface. Basically, I colored my Winamp in green (so I could key everything else out), recorded it with Fraps as I play this song, masked the visualizers and did the rest of the magic in Vegas.
Some of you might find the 3D thing impossible to do with Vegas. Well actually, its already one of things you can do since... version 8, methinks. You can pretty much mess around with 3D in Vegas and make something like this, albeit really REALLY tedious to work with. If youre not too good with math and perspectives, you can quite easily mess the positions up while doing this.
Anywho, enough with the geek-talk. And since I love this song (and the rest of the music in this album), why dont you all go support Alex S. and buy his album? (if you havent already ;D)

Another one in the backburner. Again, same with Renatus, originally thought Id put it in Rock Band as a full band custom, ultimately decided its way more fun in this Clone Hero form. Definitely worth it. I absolutely love charting arpeggios on guitar.
