Nepal's army has been battling tough terrain to deliver supplies to those affected by deadly flash floods in the Rasuwa district, after the disaster cut off roads and disrupted communications in many remote villages.
Emergency crews have so far recovered more than 1,100 bodies, and nearly 4,500 people remain missing after the gigantic wave of freeing water, rocks and debris triggered by a high-altitude glacial collapse roared down the China-Nepal border on 26 August.
