On this first episode of Neon Galactic’s The Rethink, we convene a panel of experts from across the various fields that have interest in and around the field of anomalous studies and ufology.
This will ultimately be a series of conversations, held with prominent representatives of the various stakeholder groups surrounding the UAP phenomenon, including – but not limited to – humanists, scientists, experiencers, political activists, and journalists/podcasters.
Our primary goal is to foster a joint sense of mission and facilitate conversations between interested parties that are too often locked in their own institutional silos and therefore lack cohesion.
Guests in this first installment include Philosophy Professor James Madden from Benedictine University; experiencer Jay Christopher King, from the Experiencer Group and Ontocalypse Productions; political strategist and entrepreneur Lester Nare; and
Professor Kevin Knuth, from the State University of New York at Albany.
The panel will be hosted by KEET’s James Faulk and Dr. Chris Avis from Camosun College in British Columbia.
Our primary questions:
How would a broad-based and inclusive approach to these subjects work, and what can be gained by broadening the conversation to include groups that otherwise wouldn’t necessarily cooperate? Is it possible to do so given the different experiences and philosophies?
Can science learn to respect other ways of knowing?
