Literally nobody has done this category.
Okay, that's technically a lie, but nobody has ever done an optimized run of this category.
There's only 4 runs of this category.
The first run was in March 2022, with a time of 15;48. 4 days later, someone beat it with a 15;46.
Later that year, in November, someone got a 21;17. Leaving the WR as still being the 15;46.
Then, almost a year ago, in July 2025, someone got a 14;52.
To put all of this into context: At the time, Happy End World took just barely over 10 minutes. The only different between DYLM and HEW is just raising you Mental Darkness and doing Internet Angel 5. These 2 endings also have similar end cutscene lengths.
So with all of this information, this category has never been truly optimized with high level play in mind, and I beat the previous WR by over 4 minutes.

For those who dont know, the NSO modder Mints has made a mod called Alternative Ascension. As of the making of this video, the mod is in version 1.0.2. It has 3 new endings, and (potentially) more on the way.

And for those curious, this run is technically cheated, by the speedrun.com rules (although there isnt a category for it anyways), since I loaded a different data file. The reason for this is because I needed a way to skip Darkness 1, and enter Darkness 2 early to save more time, but theres no day 1 save file available to load. So I got creative and opened a separate save file to do the glitch lol.

This game released less than 24 hours ago, and I speedran this game too....
This game is one of a few minigames on the new a NSO spinoff game, known as Petit Game Collection (as you could tell from the title).
There is no speedrun.com leaderboard, nor is there any other runs (that I know of), so I made it up as I went. So for the sake of this run, time starts on the menu disappearing, and ends on the first frame when the final text box is gone.
This was also done in a VERY short time frame, but I believe Ive found all there is to know here. Holding the windows key speeds up the text (only when the current text box shows all text), and the beach option is not required if you have already done it in a previous playthrough.
Ive also done MANY runs on Chinese, but Japanese seems to be the fastest here.")

This also means theres a new timing method, which makes the new time 18:07.

My personally rules were as follows:
Time starts as you press New Game or Resume (depending on if youre doing NG or NG+).
Time ends when KAngel turns into Ame.
I might do a few more attempts, and then its back to DreadOut 2.")

Frostworth is an incredible modder for Needy Streamer Overload, and has made lots of fun mods, such as a randomizer, adding Solitaire to NSO (with custom sprites), and even a custom stream maker that outperforms the official in-game stream maker by a long shot!

For those who may not know what TAS is, T.A.S. stands for Tool Assisted Speedrun/Superplay.
This is the process of using special tools to do complete a task in a videogame in a more optimal way compared to humans. Although the process is slightly different, depending on the game and tools, this TAS specifically uses an autoplayer that is capable of being fed actions, and executing them in the order they were given. This TAS also uses the help of a mod that limits RNG to become 100% consistent.
For those wondering about some of the specifics, and how this TAS is faster than the previous TAS:
Frostworth recently found a way to make the auto player do a somewhat precise glitch thats able to skip the cutscene for Runaway Angel! For an example of that, heres the human world record: https://youtu.be/qI-LhkZKxt4
This is done by overlapping Nymphomania and Runaway Angel on top of each other, causing the game to think it completed Runaway Angel early.
After finding a good way to complete Runaway Angel with the skip, it all came down to finding proper routing to go along with it. And when its all put together, the fastest TAS time is 37;36, beating the previous TAS by ~3 minutes.
