The title track from the debut album Blue Spring by Nathan Micay. Art by LuckyMe.
In 2020 the track was discovered by the makers of HBO series, Industry and Nathan spent 8 months creating the original soundtrack, available on LuckyMe.
Released in 2019, Blue Spring came alongside an original comic set in the near future, where personal data had become currency and mass raves had been deemed a political act of aggression. A meta-modern cyberpunk reinterpretation of 1980s acid house, the story also addressed streaming and the gig economy - themes which increasingly infect the world of independent music. The second pressing of vinyl included a foreword by Matt Dryhurst.
Before Blue Spring Nathan broke through with a loving tribute to the work of Otomos Akira. Check it out here→ http://luckyme.net/bwana
