My recipe for this was fairly simple: 1 Part Chromacryl White (Artist's Loft Soft Body would work too), 1 part DecoArt Satin Enamel, 2 parts US Floetrol... and then add water until it leaves an indent when drizzled off of the stir stick. The ingredients are important - but the MOST important thing is to get the consistency right! The thinner you go, the more pearls you will get.
I ALWAYS test it on a small canvas before I try it on something larger. If I don't get enough pearls - add more water!
The pour-over color was just paint and Floetrol, and enough water to match the pearl mix consistency.
I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!
