Surprise!
Town of Stolen Faces recently hit a hundred views, and my cover of Madhouse by Citizen Soldier has performed alright (at least compared to how my covers usually perform), so I thought I'd give you guys this song!
This song was mostly an experiment to see if I could manage to put together a good, competently-written, fun, heavy song in a couple weeks. Sure enough, I pulled it off and even managed to film performance footage for this lyric video!
This is a metal song, so if you're not into that style of music then I understand if you don't like this song.
I've recorded songs like this in the past on this channel but my recent songs that I've released that have performed alright were more rock driven than metal driven (and uh... my old metal songs were really bad anyways so it's time I had a better one on here...)
Just gonna apologize in advance for my bad metal screams. I unfortunately didn't have time to find somebody else to record them so I did it myself...
All of the rhythm guitar parts were recorded by me as per usual, however the solo this time, instead of using a simulated guitar VST instrument, is real! Special thanks to Aurélien Renucci for recording this really good guitar solo for me! His footage of him playing the solo is included in the video as well.
