NASA Releases New Spacewalk POV Video Spacewalking is one of the most challenging things astronauts do. During a spacewalk, also known as an extravehicular activity (EVA), astronauts leave the safety of their spacecraft to repair equipment, install new hardware, and conduct experiments while orbiting Earth at nearly 17,500 mph.
