Nanditha Kannan was the featured artiste for the recent First Light series curated and produced by Kishima Arts Foundation. She is a self-assured and confident young Carnatic vocalist who held her own throughout this concert.
She began her recital with a composition by Swathi Thirunal called "Sumasayaka in Ragam Kapi.
Nanditha was accompanied by Sandeep Ramachandran on violin, Kaushik Sridhar on mridangam, R Karthik on kanjira and Shivaprasad on tambura.
