After rare and powerful rains in the Namib Desert, parts of the landscape transform completely turning dry sand into temporary waterholes and shallow lakes.

And yes… that means even Mr. NamibiaCam can go for a “boat ride” in one of the driest places on Earth.

Moments like this are incredibly rare and remind us just how unpredictable and alive the desert really is.
