Namco System 246 and System 256 arcade emulation has made a massive breakthrough!
Thanks to PCSX2x6, a new fork of the PCSX2 emulator, more than 40 Namco arcade classics are now playable in near-perfect conditions, including Time Crisis 3, Wangan Midnight, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, Taiko no Tatsujin and many more.
In this sneak peek, I show you real gameplay of these arcade gems running buttery smooth, and I explain what's coming to Batocera. Integration is still in progress, but the results are already incredible. These PS2-based arcade systems were nearly impossible to emulate correctly for over 20 years, that era is finally over!
