“So many of my clients come to me and they’re like ‘oh, sorry about my skin!’. The reality is we’ve all got something going on with our skin. We’ve all got something we want to fix.”
As a makeup artist, Jack Cail creates plenty of flawless-looking faces (including his own) but his skin, like everyone’s, is not perfect. When it comes time to take the makeup off, Cail looks to effective cleansers that remove makeup without a trace and hardworking exfoliating and retinol treatments that help control acne and reduce associated scarring. “I’m pretty happy with my skin now. I used to be way too embarrassed to leave the house without makeup on but I think it’s all about embracing what you got.”
Speaking of self-love, Cail is also about doing things that make him feel good including luxurious facial massages of up to 30 minutes and Foreo facials.
