Just don’t jump yourself into an irrational fear of carbs ok?

I have to ask myself this question all the time because I’ve definitely struggled a lot with being over restrictive when it comes to food. If a new habit I’m looking to put into practice is really just feeding that restriction and fear then I put a pin in it while I look deeper at whether I REALLY need it.

I’ll get regular comments from women asking “what about glucose spikes???” whenever I talk about carbs. And it’s always written exactly like that - frantically and fearfully.

Glucose and cortisol spikes are a normal part of biology. Did you know they’re also happening when you’re doing a slow and steady weights workout?

I just wanted to provide a little more context to the message in this post.
