We've had some very hot days. During one of them, this window air conditioner stopped working and started blowing hot air into the room. Will a desperately needed coil cleaning fix it?
It's been several weeks since this was recorded, and this air conditioner has not acted up again. I would still like to remove it from the window for a proper cleaning. I am not sure if the owner will go for that.
There's no money in repairing these small, sealed and oftentimes critically charged systems, but I like working on them. (A critically charged system is one where the refrigerant charge is small and needs to be pretty much exact for the unit to work properly.)
