This is just a little opinion piece on Real Bout Fatal Fury 2, but I'm throwing it in here because I've always wanted to talk about Real Bout 2 in some capacity, and now's as good a time as any. Well, actually, 8 years ago would have been the best time, but it's not like I knew anything about the game back then.
---
I don't intend to recruit anyone with this video - we get enough of that as it is with current-gen fighting games, it never works, and I would have had to downplay or omit mentions of infinites and all the other goofy stuff to make this game look better. Even so, in case you want to see RB2 in action, here are some channels that (at the time I'm writing this) have some matches to watch.

Whoever's in charge of the channel has been at it for a LONG while now, and they're still uploading videos today. Offers a lot of matches and little clips of information every now and then. Related to another site, gitr.web.fc2.com/, with lots of info on the game. GITR is fully in Japanese, but the channel has some stuff translated to English.
- BahamianKing100 - youtube.com/user/BahamianKing100
Is he in trouble for uploading replays so frequently? Is "Replay Theft" still a thing? Well, whether it is or not, he puts up matches for tons of games on Fightcade, and RB2 is one of those games.

Great vids, and one tourney.
And of course, you've got Mi-Ka-Do and Nakano TRF, but that's typical of old-school arcades in Japan, people will play anything for kicks.

![[Kinnikuman MGP2] The Medal Hunt - Atlantis
Atlantis is actually kind of a decent character. Hes very simple, and has a limited selection of moves, but hes got a little bit of everything. His Level 9 attacks have dreadful range, though, and hes got nothing on Springman. [Kinnikuman MGP2] The Medal Hunt - Atlantis](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pbrpQpWyEV0/mqdefault.jpg)

Im putting the whole thing up, so that you all can speculate among yourself about how to get to the boss. That said, I still think its just a matter of getting an unreasonably high amount of Secret points.
Things to note:
- This was played in MAME; Ive never gotten to the secret boss in ZiNC, so maybe that has something to do with it.
- I didnt have much time logged on the machine, so its probably not a timed unlock.
-Ive only played the game about 3 times, so its not like you have to beat it repeatedly/ clear the boss consecutively. [Fighting Layer] George PT + Knight Appearance](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pynox8WR97I/mqdefault.jpg)
