Another thing that wasnt planned. I KNOW its awful, you dont need to tell me that. I uploaded it only because its something Mileven related that I finally finished AND because it took like three hours for me to make it and three more for it to render.
This song means the world to me. The lyrics is deep and I love it with every inch of my body. I actually named it the Fillie song because it reminds me of this Fillie fanfic I read recently. Its called City Boy and its what I call ART - so go and read it. Its just so beautiful and I cried like three times during the book. The ending was painful to read but Im not sorry I read it.
Soo at first I thought about a Fillie edit but meh, Im not good enough for this. And tbh I couldnt think of moments that could fit with the lyrics so I gave up. I thought about a sad Mileven au and this was supposed to be one but these two make me too soft to give them a sad ending. They deserve all the happiness in the world. Change my mind, I dare you.

Storyline: Mike and Eleven are a couple. One day the Party decides its time to finally close the Gate to the Upside Down and Eleven is the only one who can do it. She is ready to go and risk her life again, but Mike is not happy about it. He cant talk about it with her because she gets home right after she says shell do it. Mike goes home and fails in trying to sleep so he decides to talk to El. When he takes the SuperCom though, he decides it would be better to go to her house and talk to her in person. When he gets there they have a fight and Eleven ends up going to her room and shutting the door. She lays down and cries. Els father hears the argument and goes to comfort Mike. The boy goes home. The next day El decides to go to Mikes school and apologise because she understands that he doesnt want anything bad to happen to her. But when she finally finds him hes with Max, happy and smiling like nothing happened and El gets mad. Mike sees her but until he gets to the door Eleven was already gone. The same night she has to go and close the gate and even if they had a fight Mike still goes there and tells her with tears in his eyes that he cant lose her again. She promises him he wont lose her and leaves. Mike doesnt know if she is still alive until she comes to the Snowball the next day.

This vid went thru SO MANY changes. At first it wasnt gonna be with that song AT ALL. It was gonna be an angsty couple vid *im not gonna say which couple hehe, ill leave that to ur imagination* but I didnt have enough brain cells for that (sorry .-.) This year has been one hell of a journey and definitely held many unexpected turns and twists, but I loved them all (kinda)😭 And what a coincidence that I got to live through most of this year with the same person that created this thingy with me, people would say its on purpose👄
2023 definitely wasnt an easy year but one thing that was right with it was that we got to spend more than half of it on the same place and drove us to a point where Vlad comes to my house every other week and eats everything from my fridge😞 Im starving but at least I finally have a good and consistent friendship, so whats more to ask😭
We lived together, we cooked together, we watched every show and movie on the planet together, we stalked hot guys together and we did some other devilish stuff that slipped through while we were on our third all-nighter in a row while doing NHL projects that were 50 pages long and we needed a good distraction in-between breathing and doing the work yknow, we have our needs🧍♀️
Im so happy we finally got to work on a collab together after over an year and it was a whole rollercoaster for sure but it was soooo worth it. I love what we did with it and I love all the laughs and cringe we had while editing this thingy. I dont remember the last time I masked so many stuff on a vid and I honestly dont want to😭 Its just not a project of ours if we dont spend 5 days in a row editing from dusk till dawn (rip to my eyes), and thats whats so special about working with you💜
We wanted to include fandoms that had a huge impact on us during this year and not just things that came out in 2023. (also were salty that we didnt get to upload a collab last year, so we wanted to add things from there as well) We thought its more symbolic like that and it will mean more to us than to use things that we dont feel so connected to. And as a whole, the theme for our collab is that every year is better than the previous one, and no matter if this year was bad for us (and for you) or not, next year will be better. And even if its not, how are you going to find out if you dont get there? So, stay around and live through 2024 with us💜
Also, we decided to combine those songs because they meant a lot to us throughout 2022 and 2023, and what better way to go into 2024 than the song that was with us in the beginning of this year and the one that was with us at its end? 😭
Once again Im thanking my best friend for being there when no one else is, for handling my emotional swings all the time and for not giving up on us when maybe we both should have. I love you and I want to spend many more years with you, we have to keep annoying people on here with our collabs after all🥰💜💜

Heyy yall, im still here!
I have like 30 unfinished projects that are staring angrily at me rn, but after last weeks ep i had to do this one, cuz tbh I wouldnt have the chance again. When I started this show, I never thought that I would actually have to say goodbye to Rini. Like, ever. They seemed like the perfect endgame and I wasnt concerned about them ending up together or not, until the whole drama started and I just knew that was the end for them. I never found it in myself to edit them after that break up in s2, but now I just wanted to say goodbye to them in the only way I know.
When I started this show I was in a really dark spot. It was March 2020, the c0v!d situation had just started + i had gotten into this big fight with my closest person, and I started watching HSMTMTS to get some distraction. But then I saw what it was about, and that whole why cant you say i love you plotline fvcked me up really hard, cuz i used to be on that same spot. On Rickys spot, not Ninis. I knew how it felt like to not be able to express how you feel cuz no one ever really made you feel that way + youre always scared of the other person destroying your feelings by not returning them. When youre used to everyone leaving you, you dont want to risk it by driving someone else away from you. Especially if they mean so much to you. So, those stuff are scary. Watching him say it at the end made me cry like a 2-year-old cuz it was just beatiful and so well acted out. My own situation wasnt any different tho- but i wont talk about that now.
Lets just say that there are only a few couples out there that I actually felt personally close to, and Rini is one of them. I cant believe that every couple that means this much ends up being broken up, drifted apart or something of the sort. I really want to see a couple that I relate to get their happy ending, FOR ONCE. Mileven, im counting on you🤧
Anyway. Ive wanted to edit every single one of Joshuas songs ever since Ive heard them, and this one is a personal favorite (yes, another relatable thing, bruh). No one is ever going to convince me that Nini and Ricky didnt look not as over each other as they thought they were😩 I wanted at least one interaction, but i guess that was too much for the actors smh. I hope that shell get back on the show for the finale and well get another scene of them, but well see. I choose to see HSMTMTS S1 as a completely separate show from the rest of the seasons, cuz I want to believe that second chances are possible and that no matter how broken you are, you can always find someone to love you just as much as you love them.
oh, and did i mention all transitions are done in AE? theyre still not that good but im trying!
I want to dedicate this to my closest person cuz it wouldnt feel right if the vid was for anyone else (yes, i promise it has nothing to do with the fact that Ive dedicated most of my vids to him- shut up). Ive had some thoughts on us for the past few days but I hope theyll pass cuz im just an insecure a*s yknow...
