AAAAAND WE'RE HERE🥳🥳🥳🥳

This year has been one hell of a journey and definitely held many unexpected turns and twists, but I loved them all (kinda)😭 And what a coincidence that I got to live through most of this year with the same person that created this thingy with me, people would say it's on purpose👄

2023 definitely wasn't an easy year but one thing that was right with it was that we got to spend more than half of it on the same place and drove us to a point where Vlad comes to my house every other week and eats everything from my fridge😞 I'm starving but at least I finally have a good and consistent friendship, so what's more to ask😭

We lived together, we cooked together, we watched every show and movie on the planet together, we stalked hot guys together and we did some other devilish stuff that slipped through while we were on our third all-nighter in a row while doing NHL projects that were 50 pages long and we needed a good distraction in-between breathing and doing the work yknow, we have our needs🧍‍♀️

I'm so happy we finally got to work on a collab together after over an year and it was a whole rollercoaster for sure but it was soooo worth it. I love what we did with it and I love all the laughs and cringe we had while editing this thingy. I don't remember the last time I masked so many stuff on a vid and I honestly don't want to😭 It's just not a project of ours if we don't spend 5 days in a row editing from dusk till dawn (rip to my eyes), and that's what's so special about working with you💜

We wanted to include fandoms that had a huge impact on us during this year and not just things that came out in 2023. (also we're salty that we didn't get to upload a collab last year, so we wanted to add things from there as well) We thought it's more symbolic like that and it will mean more to us than to use things that we don't feel so connected to. And as a whole, the theme for our collab is that every year is better than the previous one, and no matter if this year was bad for us (and for you) or not, next year will be better. And even if it's not, how are you going to find out if you don't get there? So, stay around and live through 2024 with us💜

Also, we decided to combine those songs because they meant a lot to us throughout 2022 and 2023, and what better way to go into 2024 than the song that was with us in the beginning of this year and the one that was with us at its end? 😭

Once again I'm thanking my best friend for being there when no one else is, for handling my emotional swings all the time and for not giving up on us when maybe we both should have. I love you and I want to spend many more years with you, we have to keep annoying people on here with our collabs after all🥰💜💜
