This project started out as a simple exercise to build a small isometric room... but it quickly grew into an entire purple moon. 🌌👽

In this 1 hour condensed timelapse (from 10+ hours of work), I walk through the creation of a "sleepy" alien moon. While I took some inspiration from the whimsical, tactile feel of Wallace & Gromit, I wanted to put my own spin on the style blending that cozy charm with a more mysterious, scientific sci-fi atmosphere.

Technical Specs:

Software: Blender 5 (Cycles Render)

Animation: Character movements handled via Mixamo and tweaked in-engine.

Composition: I rendered 4 distinct camera angles to be composited later in DaVinci Resolve.

This was a fun lesson in how a small idea can expand into a much larger world. I hope you enjoy the process!

This is a huge milestone for the channel as we push towards 3,000 subscribers, so if you’re into blender, animation and design or just love the Blender grind, I’d love to have you along for the journey.
