In this video, I take you through my process of creating a cozy, stylized isometric 3D scene of the Stargate Command (SGC) gate room using Blender.

I wanted to capture the iconic industrial feel of the show while giving it that "tiny diorama" aesthetic. This project covers everything from modeling the gate and the DHD to setting up atmospheric volumetric lighting and custom textures for the control room.

Key features in this build:

Modeling: Creating a simplified, chunky Stargate and Dial Home Device (DHD).

Lighting: Using a mix of warm industrial lamps and the cool blue glow of the event horizon.

Details: Adding hazard stripes, wall pipes, and the iconic control room window to bring the base to life.

Software used: Blender 5 - Cycles
