This video is the story of why I began sewing and what it was like sewing in the 80's and early 90's.

I'm sure some of you old-timers can relate, it was very different before the sewing internet happened! In the video I talk about my first makes, how I used visit fabric stores after school and drool over the glamours Vogue designer patterns and how hard it was to find info on a lot of sewing techniques that are now just a Google search or a Facebook group away. And of courses how my obsession with German pattern magazines started. Plus I will show you the only garment I have left from that time period!
