Good tutorial sound design is mostly invisible, which is exactly why it works. In this Final Cut Pro tutorial I'll show you the techniques I use, including lining up sound effects precisely with the solo feature and your nudge keys, retiming a sound effect so it actually matches what's happening on screen, adjusting volume with real precision by holding Command or typing exact decibel values, shifting the pitch of repeated sounds so they don't get grating, and using stereo pan mode to create directional sound that moves with your visuals. These apply to any video, not just tutorials.
