Sometimes the hardest part of faith ain’t belief.
Sometimes it’s learning how to understand God as a Father when you never really had a father-son relationship to learn from in the first place.
In this video, I talk openly about growing up without a consistent father figure, the long shadow fatherlessness can cast over a person’s life, and the strange difficulty of trying to build a relationship with the Most High God while carrying emotional blueprints that were never fully formed to begin with.
This isn’t a sermon. It’s more of a ride and a conversation. A quiet, honest reflection on grief, attachment, loss, faith, anger, healing, and the slow process of learning to trust God in ways that don’t always come naturally.
We get into the psychology of attachment, the effects of childhood neglect, the struggle many believers quietly carry, and what Scripture actually says about approaching God as “Our Father” when that word itself feels complicated.
Just me, a bicycle, a trail, some hard-earned thoughts, and hopefully something in here that helps somebody else feel a little less alone in the process.
