Gulveer Singh after creating history at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

The 28-year-old became the first Indian ever to win a medal in the men's 10,000m at the Commonwealth Games, clinching a historic silver in 27:49.78 on a rain-soaked track in Glasgow.

It was a brilliant tactical race by Gulveer, who stayed in contention throughout before producing a strong finish to secure the silver medal.

Gulveer's campaign isn't over yet. He will also represent India in the men's 5,000m later at the Commonwealth Games.
