Prachi Bishnoi of Haryana clinched gold in the women’s race walking event at the 21st National Youth Athletics Championships 2026 in Ludhiana.

The final produced a thrilling finish, with Prachi clocking 14:01.53, just 0.26 seconds ahead of Madhya Pradesh’s Ranjana Yadav (14:01.79) after an intense battle over the final 20 metres.

A closely fought race and another promising performance from India’s young race-walking talent.
