There are un-bee-lievable benefits to supporting Australia’s native bees, like the beautiful Blue-banded Bee (Amegilla chlorocyanea) seen here.
They're one of a handful of Blue-banded Bee species native to Australia. If you've been lucky enough to spot one in your garden, you'll know they are distinctive and noisy. Typically they make jerky movements, darting this way and that, often stopping to hover momentarily when their bodies may be seen to waggle. 🕺
