I share everything, from learning I needed a leg reconstruction surgery, through months of rehabilitation, to the mental and physical challenges standing between me and climbing and navigating a return to indoor bouldering.
It’s hard to know exactly how to communicate this journey, but this video is going to be some big updates, and a snapshot in time of going through a limb-threatening injury as a rock climber.
It’s been a total rollercoaster, with some of the best and hardest days and weeks of my life wrapped in.
A huge thank you to Mammut for supporting me during this time.
Mammut have been a huge support in this journey, not just in supporting this series of videos, but in making it possible for me to focus on the physical and mental recovery that major injury demands. To know I’ve still got the support from them in telling a story that isn’t a conventional climbing adventure is so appreciated.
