Today in the hot shop were using the encalmo technique to make a large platter. First we roll us our canes on a blow pipe and make a small intricately designed up. We then create a tube of pink glass, and attach our previously made up to it. Once our color design is formed, we inflate it and spin it out into a flat platter.
