Today in the hot shop were making a new piece of work. I could not be happier with the end product. This process is new to me and I expected it to go poorly, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cane cup we attached to the top of the form retained its lines very well and the body of the piece came out to be an amazing amethyst. Hopefully more pieces go like this in the future.
