Moving up from the ARDrone2.0, I built a DJI Flamewheel 450 and installed a Naza-M controller + GPS combo. My first time up was a spectacular wreck: I engaged GPS flight mode and it flew off then dived into the turf... as I'd mounted the GPS backwards. (D'oh!) Once corrected my next flight went well, though it's very obvious that I need to do a lot of trim/balance and work out my gain values to get the wobbles out of the system.

It was only lightly breezy, maybe 6-7mph. The GPS kept things nicely stable and landing it with 'return to home' mode worked as advertised; quite pleased! Four more successful flights that day, including another RTH-landing from the far side of the park and high altitude.

Filmed with an onboard GoPro3-Black and a cheapie JVC palmcorder. Please forgive the shaky flight as I work on trimming the system and leveling up my piloting stats. :)
