Thank you so much for joining me today for my first shopping vlog! I can definitely see a few ways to do better next time, but practice makes perfect. This is a tiny look at a few luxury shops around Boston. Hopefully I can do a better one come spring time!
So apparently I'm way too pale for light gray shoes and this employee felt strongly about it? To clarify, it wasn't just him saying that this color would suit a deeper skin tone. He went right to telling me I'm too pale and really should tan in general in a really catty way.
It's funny because I've considered buying the Lady Dior in gray for years. Classic to Dior, what could be better! However, I don't own much gray because I know it never seems to look quite right with my skin tone, hair, eyes, etc. Now, I don't mind someone saying 'perhaps this would compliment you more' and there will always be colors that don't suit us, but this guy was on another level!
I personally don't like tanning products for myself, but I would never tell anyone what to feel about their hair, skin, eyes, anything. How bizarre!
