3 years and 2 months ago, I beat Leyak to make it my first insane demon and my new hardest demon; and from that day again and again, I wanted to push myself beyond Leyak and truly test my skill with something even more challenging.
Level after level came and went: Excessive Compliment, Mystic Bounds and Misty Mountains, all levels that were meant to surmount Leyak as my hardest accomplishment in the game - however recently, my friend Rynoxious recommended this to me after I struggled to find something that works for me.
I genuinely didn't expect to beat this as fast as I did. I think I only started playing this a couple weeks ago, and I got so consistent so quick - and then today happened.
I got 66% and 64% early into going from 0, and only a few minutes later.. I beat it, fluking it from 66%. I think my reaction sums up how I felt pretty well lol
Thoughts on the level though, I honestly really enjoyed this - contrary to the amount of moping my friends had to hear at times when I was essentially throwing myself at a wall. The level got very, very consistent towards the end (minus most of the black orbs being choke points) but other than that, it was a very fun experience from start to finish.
The decoration is nothing special in all honesty, pretty standard stuff for the time it came out. The issues with the contrast did make it hard to read parts at times, but that just smoothed out the more I played.
Overall, I recommend this as a first extreme, and if you're already familiar with this kind of difficulty then this is likely something you can do with relative ease.

After nearly 19 months in the works, multiple part replacements, part reworks, part polishing and so many delays and so much stress.. Here it is.
Edge Of Destiny was started by me on November 27th 2020, after Days Of Thunder suggested that I could do an unnerfed Blade Of Justice remake instead of a nerfed Tartarus remake (which was TarTarSauce) - I took this idea on, not knowing what I was getting myself into; I thought it would be a fun experience, but oh boy I did NOT expect it to go in the direction it did..
But now, Im sat here over a year and a half later with my proudest accomplishment in GD - with it being my first major hosting endeavour, I didnt expect it to turn out this good.
I want to thank everyone who made this level possible today:
- Days of Thunder : The man who gave me the idea. You gave me the kick up the ass I needed to be more forceful with hosting and take hold of the project better - despite my confidence issues and lack of enthusiasm at times. I know you werent part of the second half of the process very much, but your contributions at the levels birth cannot go ignored.
- Sala and CuLuC : The OGs who joined day 1. CuLuC has been around to this very day, helping out with merging and polishing and just being the absolute GOAT. Sala unfortunately had IRL things to deal with, but Im so glad he came along for the ride. Love you both like brothers.
- Zimnior12: Someone I can thank for giving this level the kickstart it needed at the start.. As much as its apart from APTeam now, I cannot deny that the initial push the level got from being part of the team was what kept it alive in the beginning. Thank you so much.
- T.M. : As much as you guys disagreed with the idea of me doing a remake of Blade Of Justice at first, Im incredibly thankful for you supporting me through this process; it was incredibly stressful at times, and your reassurance and guidance made things so much easier.

I recently decided to revisit my You Cant Run remix, since I felt that I had done a poor job of it previously and it just felt kinda lazy - this new version however is something Im actually really proud of!

New hardest once again. GG.
God, this level was a blast from start to finish. The gameplay was extremely solid minus a couple of parts, and the deco was a fresh take on an old theme.
Minus the wave at 32% and the ship at 42%, this levels gameplay felt satisfying and fun all the way through. It was pretty fairly balanced and synced well to the fantastic song, including broad and interesting parts to showcase the gamemodes that felt well-utilised. Most of my attempts were practicing the second half, while I only got there a few times, it still felt like the harder part of the level. The first half however was quite a challenging portion as well. But the first boss fight proved to be rather irritating at times! This was the main reason I had a good experience with this level - it has my favorite gameplay of any level I have played to date.
The deco felt fresh and interesting for the style it was encapsulating. Hell themed levels are often the typical red and black messes that we normally see - however this level opts for a more grey and orange color scheme, alongside many bones and such scattered throughout the level. The skeleton dragon boss could have been better executed, but it was still well done for the time it was made. Overall, this was a part of the level I highly enjoyed.
