My First Evaluation and The Best PD Experience | Teacher Vlog 2
In my second teacher vlog, I share details about my first observation of the year and talk about the best PD workshop I have ever been too! This video helps to take you behind the scenes of a middle school Social Studies and Spanish teacher during the PERA evaluation process for my first evaluation at a new school, as well as debriefing an amazing professional development workshop with Mawi Asgedom from Mawi Learning. He provided some helpful teaching tips such as how to invite students who may feel invisible and acknowledge their existence and incorporate the growth mindset. Teacher evaluations are never a favorite part of the year, but I really enjoyed the social studies lesson I put together and have some details related to the DBQ or document based question I used down below.
