I headed into Downtown Dallas with the Rockwall Triathlon Club to run the 2026 Mambo Miles 5K, put on by Mi Cocina.

This one wasn’t about chasing a PR—it was about getting back out there, running with friends, enjoying the atmosphere, and finally getting my first 5K of 2026 under my belt. Mambo Miles is such a fun Dallas running event, with a huge crowd, great energy, and plenty of reasons to stick around after crossing the finish line.
