happy mid-week, hope you are doing well. Time flies! this is the first We Wednesday in almost 2 years? whaatttt
this video is very special to me- i mean, every video i put up is close to my heart and I savor the creating experience. It's just that Ratatouille, my favorite movie for over a decade, brings me so much joy, that immortalizing this afternoon with friends and also sharing it here with you makes that joy even greater!
believe it or not, i've never made ratatouille properly before. some years past, when like i'd be home for the summer from college, my Dad and I used to watch the movie and have "ratatouille"- but it was tomato pasta sauce with shopped up squash haha, so a little derivative.
special thank you to my friend Leesa for sparking my interest in attempting the dish and giving me saute pointers. it's honestly a hassle free dish, as it should be, so it'll definitely be a staple of mine moving forward.
Oh yes- also, i have some patio furniture! it was a happy accident how i came across them, a friend had a UHAUL truck while moving and i saw a chance to go shopping- long story short, it was in perfect time to have people over and enjoy the warm weather outside.
