When I was travelling around Colombia, I fell in love with this city. It's not one of tourist hotspots live Medellin or Cartagena. This is a city which most foreigners visiting Colombia have never heard of.
I was working online as a digital nomad in Colombia and Manizales seemed to be the perfect place to focus and enjoy the wonderful culture and scenery.
Manizales is considered one of the safest cities in Colombia. Manizales is also getting attention for having nice weather all year round, being close to other beautiful cities and having a lot of nature.
Manizales is a little gem for people looking for a place to live. It's considered the safest city in Colombia and I really felt very safe there. I also discovered Manizales has a lot to offer and I prefer Manizales rather than Medellin to live if I had to choose.
